Responsibilities:
Set up resource plan for technical service team and develop team members to achieve business requirements.
Provide technical support to the commercial team on the product selection, applications and also conduct technical training and seminars.
Lead trouble shooting with team - technical service and QA teams when the issue is beyond product quality.
Network with industrial partners for market trends and intelligence, joint business opportunities and collboration for solutions to customers.
Lead or participate in ASEAN regional key product development especially at conversion and application stages as required by the assignement.
Build a strong technical service team in the ASEAN region.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 10 years of working experience in the printing related industry (5 years as a process engineer at the printers, QA in printing companies / printer manufacturers / ink suppliers would be an advantage)
Minimum 3 years experience managing a team
Positive and enjoying taking up new challenges
Independent and able to work autonomously
Able to speak boldly and express new ideas on technical solutions
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
