Responsibilities:
Assist CC manager to develop and maintain application development processes, development standards and best practices
Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of services
Lead the development team (internal and external) to deliver GI projects and enhancements
Ensure adherence of development practice, standards and updated documentation
Manage on-going and new enhancements and development in new projects for the respective applications are in-line with the development approach with the use of Service Oriented Architecture
Assist to develop metrics to track development competencies by skills set and applications. Work with team to make improvements and developing and achieving higher competencies in Development skill sets as well as the overall application development.
Monitors and manages the production support to ensure incidents and problems are managed within set SLAs.
Job Requirements:
Education / Training
Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent.
Professional / Trade Qualification
PMP is a plus
Experience
5-10 years of Application Development experience with at least 2-4 years of insurance applications implementation
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of in project management principles and practices
Insurance domain knowledge, in particular general insurance, is an advantage
Knowledge in eBaoGI system is a plus
Computer Proficiency
Java, AngularJS, REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, HTML / HTML5, CSS, RDBMS
Windows, Unix, Linux
Knowledge in mobile technology is an advantage
