Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the fleet manager (Superintendents) on marine coordination function, updating crew matrix, Q88
Handling of correspondence, ensure databases (manual and documentation for respective vessels) are updated
Issuance of application to Class & to follow up, preparation of quarterly reports
Review reports and update into system (keep track of the latest rules and regulations & ensure compliance)
Work closely with Superintendents, surveyors and inspectors (i.e. annual safety inspection, renewal and exemption certificates)
Extension/deferment request to flag state
Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Superintendents and Dept. head
Requirements:
Diploma in Maritime, Transportation Management, Diploma in Shipping and Logistics, or class 3 deck officer
Some working experience from the trading/shipping/freight forwarding, chemical tankers, ship owners industry
Minimum 3- 5 years of working experience in similar background
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently, initiative and resourceful
Able to work in a fast paced environment
