Job Description:
Assist in the recruitment and selection process, achieve the hiring of the most suitable talents, and manage the induction process
Assist the management in executing the yearly manpower planning & budgeting exercise with the Business units. Ensure the manpower approved budgeted numbers are adhered to.
Develop recruitment and retention strategies in alignment with manpower plan
Develop and maintain HR policies in alignment with overall company policy
Communicate HR policies to all employees
Conduct staff satisfaction survey and follow up on areas of improvement in alignment with the company
Escalate critical staff feedback to management
Assess, define and execute HR initiatives to create the desired company culture; manage employee communication that gains alignment and generates engagement around business objectives and results.
Assist with issues/grievance resolution
Ensure legal compliance in line with country and/or regional employment laws
Provide advice to management on compensation related issues such as competitive positioning in the market
Develop an internally equitable and externally competitive compensation and benefits package and participate in benchmark surveys
Manage employee relations issues and contract negotiations in a manner that is supportive of the business and human resource strategies
Responsible for job evaluation to ensure job parity
Support the management in the identification of HR needs to meet business objectives. Implement agreed structure and reporting relationship that matches organization strategies and goals; manage appropriate work analysis and clear standards for excellent performance.
Periodically assess both individual and organizational development needs and keep training plans in alignment with business priorities
Design and implement a training and development strategy that will support business requirement
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, ideally in Human Resource Management.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in the HR function preferably in a HR Generalist role in a start-up environment.
Deep understanding of Human Resources Management processes and practices
Strong working knowledge of the statutory requirements relating to MOM, CPF and payroll.
Hands-on and willing to assist with Operations-related tasks (e.g. CRM, Salesforce, other administrative tasks)
Strong interpersonal (e.g tact/diplomacy and ability to motivate others) skills
Ability to influence people of all levels to drive results.
