For on of our clients we're looking for either Systems or Network Engineers that are keen to move to IT Security.
Our client is starting a new project that allows IT professionals from a different background to gain exposure in IT Security. It's a permanent role with a 1 year commitment plan. During this one year, you'll receive the best possible training/exposure that will allow you to become more specialized in both the technical aspect as well as Technical knowledge in IT Security.
Responsibilities:
Depending on which domain in IT Security you will be assigned to the responsibilities may vary.
Perform Computer Security Incident Response activities and coordinates with other stakeholder to record and report incidents.
Recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.
Communicate alerts to stakeholder regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications and operating systems.
Assist with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.
Prepare incident reports of analysis methodology and remediation results.
Provide procedures and troubleshooting guidance.
Lead the SA team to collate and assess information relating to security threats.
Take a proactive approach to staying up-to-date with global security awareness.
Deliver occasional training session’s knowledge transfer sharing with the team.
Generate customize reports.
Requirement:
Min. 2 years' experience in either System/Servers or Network
Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Certificate in IT/Computer Science/Networking or equivalent.

Willing to work shift hours
